June marks the first official month of summer and music artist Erika Paul Carlson is keeping busy! On Saturday,  June 5th (7 to 10 p.m.), Thursday, June 17th, (7 to 10 p.m.) and Sunday, June 27th, (2 to 5 p.m.) She’ll be making the music at the Wild River Grille, 17 S. Virginia Street at Mill Street in downtown Reno, Nevada in front of the amazing Truckee River. Call for reservations and information at 775.284.7455. The website is: www.wildrivergrille.com. The food, service, staff, outdoor seating, atmosphere and live local music is always GREAT and there’s never a cover. On Friday, June 18th (noon to 4 p.m.), Saturday, June 19th (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and Sunday, June 20th (11 a.m. to 3 p.m.) Erika’s 7-piece JazzKats band will also be the band featured at the 2010 Tahoe Yacht Club Annual Concours D’Elegance Antique Wooden Boat Show, an honor Erika and her band have experienced for the 10th year in a row. Between the fun of interacting with TYC announcer extraordinaire, Randy Walker, and “jamming” with TYC treasurer and long time bassist Doug Ball, there is never a dull moment at this event. Attendees enjoy full outdoor bar and BBQ provided by Garfields and experience the awe of the boat show as they walk up and down endless rows of the most beautiful boats showcased in one place. On occasion, you’ll see event manager, Danny Pavel, woosh by with a big grin on his face, as he welcomes all guests and oversees many of the details of the week-long annual event.
