ERIKA PAUL CARLSON INTERVIEW ON YOUTUBE
Sunday, February 14th, 2010Jerry Larson asked me if he could interview me for a school film project. As one of my wildly talented piano and percussion students, I said, “Yes! Of Course!”. During one of the most busy Decembers I can remember, another student rescheduled their lesson due to illness just in time for us to do this interview in less that 30 minutes on a day that had basically no openings to fit anything in extra or “unexpected”. It was meant to be that we could meet, with his Dad’s help, to set up a bunch of video equipment and conduct an interview at a moment’s notice. This video is living proof that musical talent transfers to so many other creative disciplines including filmmaking and producing/directing. Thanks again, Jerry. I hope you get the five-star, A+ you deserve for this project. EVERYTHING was professional and accurate, including the photos you found of the colleges I attended. That makes you incredibly resourceful too! Now, here is the interview on YouTube to share and rate by everyone interested and supportive of live music and music education!
